This 4-day Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire safari program in Northern Tanzania’s prime wilderness areas offers a chance to witness the Big Five, the Serengeti Wildebeest Great Migration, explore the Ngorongoro Crater, and visit the cradle of humankind at the Olduvai Gorge. The trip starts and ends in the town of Arusha, the gateway to northern Tanzania’s tourist attractions.
You will meet our professional safari guide at the lodge after an early breakfast. The transfer by road to our first safari destination, Tarangire National Park, takes two hours. Tarangire National Park is 2850 square kilometres big, and it is famed for abnormally large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and good scenery. The game drive will continue until 04:30 PM, when you will retire to a reserved lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands for the night.
You will wake up and have breakfast at the lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands. The descent into the crater follows the ascent through a thick forest and sharp corners. The guided game drive on the surface of the Ngorongoro Crater lasts approximately six hours after exploring the 250-square-kilometre crater surface. Drive to Serengeti National Park in the evening, where Tanzania Offroad Trips has reserved a lodge in the middle of the park for you to dine and spend the night.
This is the day when you spend the entire day in Serengeti National Park. Africa has voted the park as its leading national park five times in a row. This park is an absolute venue for viewing animals inhabiting the African savannah. Serengeti annual wildebeest migration and members of the “Big Five” are easily spotted in this extensive protected area. Spend the night at a lodge that Tanzania Offroad Trips has reserved in the heart of Serengeti National Park.
Today is the last day of the 4-day Serengeti Ngorongoro and Tarangire Safari program. You will wake up early, have breakfast, and collect all your belongings. The search for animals will continue towards the Serengeti-Ngorongoro gate. You will exit Serengeti National Park and traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha, where you will bid farewell to your guide.
